NAO Humanoid Robot training courtesy of Escambia County Sheriff’s Office
On May 18th, 2018, the Charlie Project (a part of the Kukua Institute) received their first robot courtesy of the Escambia County Sheriffs Department Law Enforcement Trust Fund. Members and guests of the Kukua Institute had whole day of in-depth training with the NAO Humanoid robot that will be one portion of the larger vision of the Center for the Innovation Workforce robotics lab.
The NAO Humanoid robot will be programmable and will be featured in the Ezra Gerry Museum and Research Center, greeting guests and telling the history of Belmont/DeVilliers.
Special thanks to the Escambia County Sheriffs Department for their tireless service and their commitment of educational resources in our community!
